Mindful Moment

Happy Holidays Eldorado!  This is our last Mindful Moment of 2019.  The end of the year is a great time to reflect on your accomplishments this year, and set some great goals for 2020.  The holidays can be a very busy time for everyone, so over the break, remember to take a few moments each day for yourself to practice your mindful breathing.

Nothing tastes as good

I just can’t help myself

I love that tasty treat

I wish those Gingerbread houses

Weren’t that sweet

I was good though

I didn’t even have a bite

But if you don’t take them now

I will eat them all tonight

Christmas is a time for sharing

And being nice to everyone

With stealing I am done.

Gr. 7 Badminton

Besides neither would steal, because they aren’t jerks.

Were the houses pinched by Ms. Kellock?

That guess wouldn’t hold much stock.

 Ms. Rashad was  teaching a lesson about solids and gas,

While Ms. Nagarasan was trying to control a Kindergarten class.

Ms. Glorioso was dealing with a behaviour out in the hall

And to reach the Gingerbread Houses, Ms. Saad was too small.

Ms. Quinn was busy in the JDD room

And stealing would bring Ms. Wilson nothing but doom.

If I told the crook was Ms. Ratra or Ms. Iyer

I wouldn’t be telling the truth, I would be a big liar.

Winter Concert Reminders

This announcement is for anyone performing in the Winter Concert this Thursday night!

A few reminders:

~ Please arrive at the school for 6pm as the Concert starts at 6:30pm

~ Wear Christmas colours (Red, Green, White, Silver, Black) 

~ Can wear a Christmas-y hat if you have one (Santa Hats, Reindeer Antlers, etc.)

~ Check in to your Dressing Room when you arrive at 6pm:
